Cadet Race Training Programme 2023

We are launching our first Race Training Program at RNIYC.
 
This is an exciting step in the RNIYC training pathway! Opening up opportunities to sailors from all clubs wishing to enhance their sailing skills and confidence.
 The aim is to get as many sailors involved in Tuesday club racing as possible, and a fleet competing at Youth Nationals which are being held at BYC this year.
These sessions will not only consolidate racing but also cover all aspects of what it takes to be a committed helm or crew.
  Training will be provided by our very own RNIYC SI and Race Coach Sophie Killiner and SI Adam Lockhart. With special guest appearances from RYA Race Coach Chris Penney on 25th June.
 Both Adam and Sophie are highly skilled sailors and have progressed through the RYA pathways racing in double and single-handed dinghies at multiple events.
  The training will take place on Sundays from 10:00-3:30 with the aim to encourage progress and consistency.

Each session is £25 for members and £35 for non-members and will run on the dates below:

Please note we need minimum numbers to make the sessions viable.

Refunds will not be given for non attendance
